HEALTH & HYGIENE

Promoting Wellness Through Access

Access to health and hygiene products is critical for dignity, health, and well-being. Good360 works with corporate donors and nonprofits, delivering these essentials to communities across the country.

At Good360, we connect donated goods across five key Focus Areas: Disaster Response & Recovery, Play & Recreation, Health & Hygiene, Home & Essential Goods, and Education & STEAM.

New Report: Health & Hygiene Access in America

Every day, people face impossible decisions. Buy groceries or buy soap. Pay the utility bill or buy diapers. Spend time with family or pick up an extra shift to afford period products. These are not rare circumstances. They are the daily realities of millions of Americans, and they are growing more common as communities navigate disaster, hardship, and rising costs.

It is a persistent and growing crisis affecting communities across the country. Good360 conducted a study within its nonprofit network to understand how deep that crisis runs, and what it costs the people living it.

A key report finding is period poverty with menstrual hygiene as one of the most immediate, visible, and under-addressed barriers to participation—particularly for adolescents. Approximately 73% of surveyed nonprofit partners identified menstrual products as a critical hygiene gap.

The Challenge: Critical Access Gaps

Many individuals and families lack consistent access to health and hygiene products. Without these basic items, including toiletries, personal care products, and cleaning supplies  communities face increased health risks and barriers to participation in daily life.

Nonprofits serving vulnerable or resource-limited populations often struggle to secure the supplies required to maintain safe and healthy environments.

The Facts

1 in 3 low-income Americans skip showers, reuse diapers, or go without menstrual products due to cost, leading to disease, shame, and mental health crises.

5 million Americans suffer annually from preventable infections due to a lack of soap.

Health & Hygiene: A Foundation for Hope

Good360 and United Movement Organized Kindness hosted a Health & Hygiene outreach event in Las Vegas, Nevada, directly supporting individuals experiencing housing instability. New donated goods provided essential items, including athletic shoes, boots, jackets, apparel, water bottles, first aid kits, and hygiene products — with community partners adding mobile warm showers and professional haircuts onsite. For many, these items were more than just supplies — they offered dignity, autonomy, and moments of personal meaning.

Real impact, real stories

Good360 partners with corporate donors to provide nonprofits with health and hygiene products that promote dignity, health and well being. Nonprofits distribute these donations through their programs, ensuring communities have access to the products that support everyday health.

Examples of Impactful Donations:
