Helping Texas Families Recover After Flooding

Good360 is delivering essential supplies to help Hill Country communities respond and recover.

About the Flooding Crisis in Texas Hill County

Since July 12, 2026, a stalled, moisture-rich weather system has brought repeated rounds of torrential rain to South and Central Texas, with the most severe impacts hitting the Texas Hill Country between July 14 and 16, the same region devastated by catastrophic flooding in July 2025. Some areas have received 10 to 20 inches of rain, with isolated totals approaching 30 inches, prompting the National Weather Service to issue a Level 4 (High) flash flood risk, its first anywhere in the country since April 2025.

A Flash Flood Emergency was declared early Thursday for tens of thousands of residents along the Guadalupe River in Kerr and Kendall counties, as a large, fast-moving flood wave moved downstream. A gauge near Kerrville recorded a rise of 32 feet in just four hours. The City of Kerrville issued a shelter-in-place order, and more than 75 people have been rescued statewide, most from stranded vehicles.

Gov. Abbott has issued disaster declarations for 59 Texas counties, and state agencies, including Texas A&M Task Force 1 and 2, the Texas National Guard, and Texas Parks & Wildlife, have activated more than 1,300 personnel to support search-and-rescue and evacuation efforts. Conditions remain dangerous and are still evolving.

A Region We’ve Stood with Before

This is not the first time Good360 has responded to catastrophic flooding in the Texas Hill Country. In July 2025, torrential rains along the Guadalupe River devastated many of these same communities, and recovery is still ongoing. In Kerrville, Good360 has worked alongside local partner United Rescue Alliance, walking through hard-hit neighborhoods like Bumble Bee Hills and supporting the volunteers and community leaders carrying the long-term rebuilding effort forward.

That work has shown us how this region recovers, and who its most trusted local partners are. We’re drawing on those relationships now to move quickly and get the right supplies to the right communities as fast as possible.
