HEART

HEART is a volunteer-led and staffed ministry established by Hosanna Church that partners with businesses, ministries, and government agencies to assist individuals, families, and communities locally and nationally in times of difficulty and crisis. As a Good360 Community Redistribution Partner (CRP), HEART receives large quantities of goods into their warehouses and distributes them to nonprofits locally.

Last August, volunteers from HEART attended an event at La Vina church in Burnsville, Minnesota where 191 families came together to celebrate a “Taste of Latin America.” The event featured culinary delights from Central and South America, as well as Mexico. In addition to delicious food, the 414 children in attendance received brand-new toys thanks to a donation from Toys for Tots.

One young mother was especially thankful that her three children, all under five years old, could go home with new toys. She was visibly moved by the donation. “I am so happy for my children to receive these gifts,” she said. “We don’t have much money and I’m so thankful to see the joy on their faces.”

With the help of Good360 and Toys for Tots, HEART was able to add joy to the menu at the event, continuing to pursue their mission of spreading love and uplifting communities.
