Alexandria, VA, March 26, 2025– Good360, the global leader in product philanthropy and purposeful giving, is partnering with Caring For Others to deliver critical disaster relief to residents in and around Augusta, Georgia recovering from Hurricane Helene. The distribution event, known as “The Caring Convoy,” will depart Atlanta headquarters located at 3537 Browns Mill Rd SE #2 between 4 a.m. to 6 a.m. on March 29 and arrive and distribute goods at 8:00 a.m. at Robert Howard Community Center (103 Diamond Lakes Way), and Diamond Lakes Campground (113 Diamond Lakes Way), both in Hephzibah, GA.
Hurricane Helene made landfall in Florida as a Category 4 hurricane in late September, impacting communities across the Southeast, like Augusta. To help make The Caring Convoy a success, Good360 provided $5 million in merchandise from corporate donors, including 4,500 pairs of shoes, clothing, and household essentials to support the 2,500 families expected to attend the distribution event.
“Our goal is to allow every person impacted by the disaster to get back on their feet,” said Caring For Others Founder and CEO Eslene Richmond-Shockley. “We are grateful to the contributions of our partnerships.”
Good360 has been at the forefront of disaster recovery efforts for over 40 years, ensuring that corporate donations are strategically distributed to communities in need. By leveraging partnerships with businesses and nonprofit organizations, Good360 helps disaster-impacted families move beyond crisis toward long-term recovery.
“Hurricane Helene devastated communities across the Southeast, and recovery doesn’t happen overnight,” said Cinira Baldi, CEO of Good360. “By working with organizations like Caring For Others, we ensure that the families impacted by Helene receive the right goods at the right time, helping them rebuild their lives with dignity.”
