Alexandria, VA (February 3, 2026) – Good360, a leading nonprofit organization turning surplus into support, today announced the appointment of Gopal Pillai, Vice President of Amazon’s Worldwide Returns & ReCommerce, to its Board of Directors.

Pillai, a seasoned global operator and innovation leader, brings more than two decades of experience scaling complex businesses, leading multibilliondollar P&Ls, and building highimpact programs that support small businesses, and underserved communities.

Currently, Pillai oversees a multibilliondollar global business and leads endtoend strategy across technology, product development, and operations. His work focuses on providing end-to-end seamless returns experience, maximizing value recovery, reducing waste, and creating more sustainable outcomes for customers and partners – expertise that aligns closely with Good360’s mission to keep returned goods in circulation and out of landfills.

Previously, Pillai served as Vice President of Amazon Distribution and Fulfillment Solutions, where he built and scaled SaaS fulfillment services for more than 200,000 small business, enterprise, and public sector customers across 10 countries. He also spent five years leading Amazon India’s marketplace business, growing the seller base from 30,000 to more than 700,000. During this time, he launched major socialimpact initiatives including Amazon Saheli, supporting over 200,000 women entrepreneurs, and Amazon Karigar, empowering more than 800,000 artisans with access to digital commerce.

“Gopal brings a rare combination of operational excellence, global perspective, and deep commitment to social impact,” said Cinira Baldi, CEO of Good360. “His leadership in building scalable, sustainable systems – and his track record of empowering small businesses and underserved communities – will be invaluable as Good360 continues to expand its impact and innovate across the circular economy.”

Before joining Amazon in 2009, Pillai held leadership roles at BusinessWeek and in the nonprofit, healthcare, insurance, and energy sectors. He holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in computer science and engineering from the University of Madras.

“Good360’s mission resonates deeply with me, both professionally and personally,” said Pillai. “I’m honored to join the Board and look forward to help scaling the organization’s impact, strengthen partnerships, and advance a more sustainable and equitable approach to product distribution.”

“We are delighted to welcome Gopal Pillai to the Good360 Board of Directors. His global perspective and commitment to sustainability will strengthen our board’s ability to guide Good360’s long-term strategy,” said John Grugan, Chairman of the Board, Good360 and Partner, Holland & Knight. “Gopal’s experience in building partnerships and driving innovation will help us continue to deliver on our mission and create lasting impact for communities in need.”

Good360 and Amazon have maintained a longstanding, purposedriven partnership, collaborating for more than a decade to redirect surplus goods to communities in need. Through Amazon’s donations of essential items, including home goods, apparel, personal care products, and disasterrelief supplies, Good360 has been able to support thousands of nonprofit partners while helping reduce waste and advance circularity.
