On February 12, 2025, Role Models of America, a nonprofit based in Spring, Texas, hosted an event dedicated to supporting single moms and their families. Thanks to generous donations from Amazon, distributed through Good360, the event provided more than 100 families with essential items to help in their daily lives.
An eight-year-old girl shared her excitement: “Mom was so happy when we got there. She hugged the lady who gave us a big, soft blanket. Now we cuddle up under it when we watch movies.”
The event offered a wide array of much-needed products. Moms received over-the-counter medicines for when sickness strikes. Other items, such as lotions and warm blankets, provided comfort, while children left with games that filled their homes with laughter.
For another child, the day felt like a celebration. “I got a new game, and my sister and I play it every day now,” he said. And my mom doesn’t worry as much when we get sick because we have medicine now. It makes her smile more.”
