Stephanie brings an exceptional depth of legal, policy, and executive leadership experience. Most recently, she served as Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel at the National Retail Federation, where she oversaw day-to-day operations alongside the CEO, managed all in-house counsel functions, and led work on compliance, data privacy, board governance, and employment matters.

Before that, Stephanie was a Partner at Monument Policy Group, advising Fortune 500 companies and trade associations on government relations. She also served as Special Assistant to the President and Senior Counsel in the White House Counsel’s Office, where she managed ethics, cybersecurity, and compliance functions across the entire Office of the President.

Earlier in her career, Stephanie spent nearly six years as Chief Counsel to Senator Charles E. Schumer, leading legislative strategy on the Judiciary Committee and playing a key role in drafting the 2013 comprehensive immigration reform bill. She has also practiced at Mayer Brown LLP and clerked for two federal judges, including Judge Patricia M. Wald on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the DC Circuit.

Stephanie holds a J.D. with Honors from Stanford Law School, where she was Executive Editor of the Stanford Law Review, and an A.B. magna cum laude from Georgetown University.
