Patrick is a disaster response and resilience executive with more than 30 years of experience across the federal government, national nonprofit networks, and strategic consulting. He began his career at FEMA, serving in both field and congressional relations roles while contributing to the agency’s $4.4 billion federal budget and national disaster policy priorities.

He later spent nearly two decades at Feeding America as Managing Director and Senior Director of Disaster Services. In those roles, he led national disaster response, recovery, and preparedness strategy across a network of more than 200 food banks. He helped mobilize more than $36 million in goods, supported the deployment of more than $145 million in disaster funding and grants, and directed responses to hundreds of disasters during his career. 

Most recently, Patrick has led his own consulting practice and served as Senior Advisor with Conlon Public Strategies, advising nonprofit and corporate partners on disaster resilience strategy, resource coordination, and cross-sector preparedness systems. Patrick has also served on the board of National VOAD, is published on disaster resilience, and has spoken at leading emergency management and nonprofit conferences nationwide.

Patrick holds a Master of Arts in Education from Loyola College of Maryland and a Bachelor of Arts in Government from the University of Notre Dame.
