Iglesias El Nuevo Nacimiento, operating under its outreach arm Some1LovesYou, serves individuals in Los Angeles facing hunger, housing insecurity, and personal hardship. The organization creates a welcoming environment where community members can access food, clothing, and essential goods with dignity and care.
Through a donation of jackets from GUESS, received via Good360, the organization was able to offer much-needed warmth to individuals and families during its weekly food and clothing distributions. For many, the gift of new clothing provided comfort beyond physical warmth—it offered a sense of being seen and supported.
One recipient arrived at a Friday distribution wearing a thin, worn-out jacket. He had recently lost his job and was sleeping in his car. When offered a new GUESS jacket, he quietly asked if it was truly new. After choosing one, he held it tightly to his chest and, with tears in his eyes, said it meant more than anyone could know. Later, he shared that the jacket felt like an answer to a silent prayer—a reminder that he wasn’t invisible.
This donation helped restore dignity and hope for more than 500 individuals served by the organization, one jacket, one person at a time.
