Astegos is a nonprofit whose mission is to have a positive impact across their community through outreach and warehouse programs. Founded in 2017, Astegos began out of a desire to support people in need in Boise, Idaho, and has since grown into a housing provider, basic needs depot, and interstate transportation provider. It also serves schools, churches, and nonprofits across the greater Boise Area.
After receiving a donation from Toys for Tots through Good360, Astegos was able to provide 400 children from Donnelly Elementary School with three new toys each as part of a collaborative community event with the Valley County Sheriff’s Office that took place on April 29, 2024. Toys for Tots provides hope and joy year-round to economically disadvantaged children, and the engaging day with local law enforcement concluded with smiles and the joy of new toys,
The volunteers at Astegos were later greeted with dozens of thank-you notes from some of the students. “Receiving such personal and sincere messages deeply touched our team,” said one representative. “It reaffirmed the joy and impact we can bring to young lives.”
