Impact Story Guidelines
Do’s:
- Show the Joy: Capture clear, high-quality photos of children receiving and enjoying their toys, highlighting authentic emotions and excitement.
- Include Context: Show the event setting, community involvement, and interactions between volunteers, families, and recipients.
- Ask Permission: Always ask parents or guardians for permission before taking and using photos of children.
Dont’s:
- Avoid Generic Shots: Skip photos of just boxes, stacks of toys, or disengaged subjects without context or emotion.
- No Poor-Quality Photos: Avoid blurry, dark, or low-resolution images that don’t clearly capture the moment.
- Skip Over People: Don’t submit photos that leave out recipients, families, or the community experience—highlight the human impact.
