2023 California Floods - Good360

CALIFORNIA FLOODS

In January of 2023, torrential rains across California led to immense flooding and 19 fatalities impacting millions of people. In total, the floods caused more than $31 billion in total damage and economic cost.

The devastation led California Governor Gavin Newsom to proclaim a State of Emergency and a Presidential Emergency Declaration was approved by President Joe Biden to support response and recovery efforts.

Good360 is working closely with our nonprofit partners and disaster networks on the ground to provide the right products for each stage of recovery for those impacted. We will continue to work closely with our corporate partners to source those critically needed products as we progress through the recovery process.

Unmet product needs are listed below and updated regularly. As a reminder, Resilient Response requires needs-based giving. If you would like to help and do not have relevant products, please make a cash donation below, so Good360 can provide the right goods to the right people at the right time.

Every $100 Good360 receives, we can distribute more than $2,000 in critically needed goods to those in need.

WHAT WE DO

We ensure that the right goods are delivered to the right people at the right time – throughout all stages of disaster recovery.

We’ll be there in the early days with personal care items, supplies for shelters, and cleaning/mucking out products and we’ll be there long after the media spotlight has dimmed months and years later with furniture, mattresses, home goods and other necessities to help impacted communities through the recovery journey.

Our mission is to provide critically needed goods throughout all stages of a disaster. This means we’ll continue to provide support long after media interest fades.
