2023 California Floods - Good360

Torrential rains have soaked California for over three weeks, with some localities receiving up to 20 inches of rainfall. Catastrophic flooding contributed to nearly 20 fatalities and damaged thousands of homes and buildings. There have been related power outages, road blockages, and landslides. Residents across 10 counties are under Evacuation Warnings.

Over 700 survivors are sheltering at this time in over 20 congregate shelters, along with several non-congregate sheltering sites across 12 counties.

The devastation led California Governor Gavin Newsom to proclaim a State of Emergency and a Presidential Emergency Declaration was approved by President Joe Biden to support response and recovery efforts.

Good360 has been working closely with our partners and disaster networks on the ground to determine the needs of survivors in real-time while working with our corporate partners to provide those critically needed products. We are also providing product need gap tracking and fulfillment at the request of the California Office of Emergency Services.

Unmet product needs are listed below and updated regularly. As a reminder, Resilient Response requires needs-based giving. If you would like to help and do not have relevant products, please make a cash donation below, so Good360 can provide the right goods to the right people at the right time.

Every $100 Good360 receives, we can distribute more than $2,000 in critically needed goods to those in need.

We ensure that the right goods are delivered to the right people at the right time – throughout all stages of disaster recovery.

We’ll be there in the early days with personal care items, supplies for shelters, and cleaning/mucking out products and we’ll be there long after the media spotlight has dimmed months and years later with furniture, mattresses, home goods and other necessities to help impacted communities through the recovery journey.

Our mission is to provide critically needed goods throughout all stages of a disaster. This means we’ll continue to provide support long after media interest fades.
