03 Nov CORPORATE SPOTLIGHT: WILLIAMS-SONOMA
This week, we’d like to feature one of Good360’s generous corporate partners, Williams-Sonoma.
Williams-Sonoma is a member of our Retail Donation Program, which sets up ongoing partnerships between Williams-Sonoma retailers and local nonprofits. The nonprofits avoid shipping costs by picking up product donations themselves from the Williams-Sonoma stores. Among four brands under the Williams-Sonoma umbrella – Williams-Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids and West Elm – there are nearly 600 retailers nationwide making frequent donations to nonprofit partners through Good360.
One nonprofit that recently benefited from Williams-Sonoma’s donations is American Trooper, a Texas-based charity that distributes product donations to veterans and their families. Through a one-time pickup coordinated by Good360, American Trooper received a hefty donation from Williams-Sonoma, featuring everything from large furniture (beds, tables, chairs) to clothing (robes and slippers). All in all, American Trooper drove away with two truckloads of donations to give to veterans.
“The amazing donations from Williams-Sonoma and Pottery Barn have made it possible for us to accomplish our mission,” said Shanessa Coburn, founder of American Trooper. “I am forever grateful for all they have done for our organization and for supporting our troops!”
American Trooper is just one of many nonprofits pre-vetted by Good360 that have benefited from the generosity of the Williams-Sonoma brand over the last 22 years. On behalf of all those impacted by the product donations, we thank Williams-Sonoma for their continuous service to nonprofits around the country!
