National Partnership with Regis Corporation Makes Local Impact

Recently Good360 partnered with Regis Corporation, a leader in the haircare industry, to distribute haircare products and other personal care items to more than 1,000 nonprofits across North America.

In July and August, more than 7,000 Regis Corporation salons across the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico were matched to local nonprofits that donated these products directly to their communities.

Regis1_squareFrom Boys and Girls Clubs to food banks and pantries, the products helped to give new confidence to those most in need. One recipient through the New Life for Hope nonprofit said, “I am a 31-year-old mother of three little girls…and a recovering heroin addict that for the last couple of years didn’t think too much of my appearance, especially my hair.  Now that New Life for Youth has come in, and with God, I started changing my inside and the deep hurts I have suffered throughout my life. It was nice to be able to care about how I looked on the outside.”

In Branson, Missouri, Generation Next, a nonprofit that supplies underprivileged children necessary equipment for life, held a Back to School Bash with the products and allowed students the opportunity to hand out more than 800 bags with shampoo, conditioner and other products. A Meals on Wheels program for a senior center in Demorest, Georgia, distributed gift bags to more than 250 clients.

“This is such a blessing for our low-income families and homeless,” said a representative from H.E.L.P. in Port Charlotte, Florida. “They can’t get any of these products with food stamps, plus they are too expensive to purchase. Therefore, they will go without. Thanks and blessings upon Good360 and Regis for this marvelous gift that is now spread out to thousands of individuals and families.”
