PRESS RELEASE: NewAir Appliances Partners with Good360 for Hurricane Relief

NewAir Donates Appliances for Rebuilding Efforts in Hurricane Ravaged Areas of U.S.

CYPRESS, Calif.Oct. 30, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ — NewAir Appliances has pledged to donate at least 100 appliances to help victims of the 2018 hurricane season rebuild after the natural disaster.

NewAir is partnering with Good360, the global leader in product philanthropy and purposeful giving, to help provide some of the products needed over the long rebuilding period in the Southern states battered by hurricanes so far this year. Good360 will be working with nonprofits involved in recovery efforts over the coming months and years to determine what is most needed and to provide those items.

“Many people lost everything in the wake of these devastating storms,” said Luke Peters, Founder and CEO at NewAir Appliances. “All of our employees understand the value of home, which is why we wanted to reach out and help people rebuild. NewAir is dedicated to giving back to the community, and this is a great way to help.”

As part of the relief effort, NewAir is shipping 100 assorted small appliances to the areas hardest hit. Donations will include air fryers, beverage coolers, heaters and ice makers.

“Through our disaster recovery efforts, Good360’s core focus is to ensure that we get the right goods to the right people at the right time throughout all stages of the recovery process,” added Jim Alvey, Good360’s Director of Partnerships, Disaster Recovery. “Our partnerships with local nonprofits serving the community and with corporations like NewAir make it possible for us to move product where it is needed most.”

Though this is NewAir’s first project with Good360, Peters expects to work with the organization again in the future. “We really wanted to find a partner that aligns with our values of giving back. Good360 does a wonderful job of this, especially in the rebuild phase, which is where NewAir can help the most,” said Peters. “We’re excited to see where this partnership can grow.”
