In 2019, we were pleased to donate approximately $500,000 worth of American Girl dolls to thousands of U.S. nonprofits that are dedicated to helping young children in need. We are grateful to all of those who are making a positive impact in their communities. Thank You!

Donation Program Overview

American Girl, a premium brand for girls and a wholly owned subsidiary of Mattel, Inc, will donate an allotment of the company’s 18” doll from its corporate facilities to eligible 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations through a coordinated program administered by Good360, the world’s leading charity in product philanthropy. The objective of this program is to assist eligible nonprofit organizations in their fundraising efforts that primarily serve children in need ages 6-12.

Application Guidelines

Qualified organizations may request up to one 18” American Girl doll for donation once in a calendar year. Applications for donations are only accepted using the Good360 online form, and donated items are available while supplies last. We cannot guarantee that every eligible organization will receive a donation, nor can we guarantee requests for a specific American Girl doll. Letters, emails, phone calls and all other correspondence to American Girl, Mattel, or Good360 requesting a donation or requesting an exception to the guidelines will not be considered.

Deliveries can be made only to street addresses (no P.O. Boxes, please). Special delivery arrangements cannot be made. Shipping addresses provided on the application must be able to accept deliveries during normal business hours Monday through Friday.

Eligibility Guidelines
