Like Good360? Make it Official on Facebook and Help a Nonprofit this #GivingTuesday
For #GivingTuesday, (the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, Black Friday and Cyber Monday), Good360 is hosting its own giving back campaign by pledging $1 for every NEW ‘like’ we earn on our Facebook page during the month of November, up to $2,500. The money raised will go toward credit of administrative costs on our online donation catalog.
Good360’s online catalog features donated products generously given by our corporate partners. However, though the products are free to our nonprofits, administrative fees are needed to cover the costs of shipping and processing.
This is where your “like” comes in. Each new like acquired during the month of November is worth $1 of credit toward administrative fees for Good360’s online donation catalog. However, since Good360 is able to leverage cash donations, on average, at a 30:1 ratio, each new ‘like’ will essentially be worth $30 in products.
Should we make our goal, that will be enough credit for one charity to receive—for free—up to $75,000 worth of products for their programming. That is enough to fund a charity’s programs for an entire year or beyond!
And to make the deal even sweeter—you have the opportunity to decide which of our charities you’d like to see the money go to. One fan of our page will be chosen to decide where to distribute this credit.
The fan chosen can give the money to one charity or distribute it amongst several. If you are a nonprofit, helping us spread the word about this contest helps you as well — the more people who participate that support your cause, the better your chances to be chosen for the credit.
