Walmart RDP Programs Helps Expectant Mothers Alleviate Stress with Baby Items

Organization: Kingdom Ministries
Lives Impacted: 20+
Donor: Walmart

As Told to Good360 by Kingdom Ministries

Kingdom Ministries, located in Fulton, MO, strives to empower mothers and fathers to choose the best life for their babies. We have a goal to reach, educate, train and empower these young parents to become productive, self-sufficient individuals intellectually, economically, socially, physically, emotionally and spiritually. We started working with Walmart in April 2019, and have been fortunate enough to provide goods to families thanks to this work with Walmart and Good360! Our interactions at Walmart are always very cheerful, kind and professional. The employees know us by name and are always asking if the donations were helpful, they take it upon themselves to learn more about our agency and ways Walmart can support us. Although we do invest a lot of resources into vehicle fuel and staff hours, providing the necessary skills to help parents succeed and introducing them to a relationship through religion is priceless.

Through this work, we have received vehicle accessories (seat covers, mirrors, chargers, GPS holders), clothing, baby supplies, children’s toys, holiday clearance – everything is more helpful than we could’ve dreamed of. One of our recipients is 38 years old ,has been riddled with health complications, is unable to work and couldn’t purchase baby items for her unborn child. Thanks to this partnership, we received a stroller/car seat combo and a bouncer seat, which was a huge client need. We were able to give these items to her and alleviate some of the stress of preparing for the coming baby. We are so thankful to Good360 and Walmart for working with us and we’re excited to see what the future has in store.
