Footprints Around the World, Inc, a nonprofit organization, located in Los Angeles has provided help to homeless and low-income families in the California community since 2015. One of our biggest issues is that many women with financial struggles who are going back to work have little to no professional clothing for interviews. One recipient called and said, “I lost my job and I have nothing to wear for my job interviews”, so that is where Footprints comes in. By contacting women’s shelters throughout the Los Angeles area, we can set up meetings to work with the ladies and donate clothing for the women in need, especially women in the plus size community.

There was a recipient by the name of Stacy, who heard about Footprints and decided to reach out to get more information. She mentioned only having one outfit to wear for her job interviews and asked how she could get clothes for a plus size woman. Thanks to the donation by Torrid, Stacy received five outfits and is back to work as of May 2018. She was so grateful for her new clothes, thank you to both Torrid and Good360 for giving her confidence in her appearance and for helping her with a positive fresh start!
