Storebound Facemask Donation Protects California Families

As of January 13th, there have been over 236,000 COVID-19 cases in San Bernardino County. With the vaccine still not available to the general public, the pandemic continues to be a threat to all, especially individuals in underserved communities. Many in these areas have lost their jobs or work in industries that cannot be done remotely.

The company Storebound, manufacturers of Dash Kitchen products, generously donated facemasks to help protect communities in need. Good360 nonprofit partner, Unidos Por La Musica received an order of the masks and distributed them to economically disadvantaged families during a food bank distribution drive. Recipients were thankful for the essential items. One family explained that they could not afford to keep buying disposable masks so the reusable Storebound masks were very practical in protecting their family of six.

Unidos Por La Musica is a nonprofit organization serving the San Bernardino area. Its mission is to promote economic self-sufficiency and upward mobility to low-income community residents through education and the power of music. The organization has multiple initiatives to assist individuals, including resources for food, health, and education.

Thank you to Unidos Por La Musica, Storebound, and Good360 for keeping these communities safe and reducing the spread of this virus.
