Role Models of America recently received a sorted/categorized donated truckload and gained access to household products, bags, apparel, and personal care items.

A Good360 Community Redistribution Partner based in Spring, TX, Role Models of America provides aid and support for families, singles, and seniors in the Greater Houston area.

In conjunction with fellow Houston-based nonprofit Freedom to Purpose Ministries, Role Models of America created 250 personal care bags for a local men’s shelter using the donated items from Good360. The care packages included drawstrings, deodorant, a washcloth, soap, a toothbrush, shampoo, a personal flashlight, and various other things to bring joy to the recipients. These care packages will be given to the gentlemen as they enter the shelter.

“These shelters (rely) on product donations and throughout Covid-19 donations are down across the board,” said Angela Mooney of Role Models of America. “This (donation of personal care supplies) eases that problem and helps the men who need supplies get them.”

Thank you to Good360 for the donation, which provided essential products to those in need in the Greater Houston area.
