Professional Attire for Those in Need

DONATION: GUESS CLOTHING AND THE HOME DEPOT CARPETS, FLOORING, AND CABINETS

LIVES IMPACTED: 55

United Church of Praise International Ministries, Inc. is located in Richmond County, Staten Island, New York. We are a Christian organization whose purpose is to help low income people rebuild their lives through the church’s many programs.

We have received many donations through Good360 and are extremely thankful for them. We used The Home Depot products for home renovation projects for local homeless individuals. They have been able to move into a beautiful new home they would never be able to afford otherwise. This donation has put a roof over these individuals’ heads and has been a dream come true for them.

The GUESS clothing donation was given to single mothers and homeless individuals trying to get a job. We received many suits and professional wear, something these individuals could not otherwise afford. This has helped them look professional for their interviews and, hopefully, given them something to wear when they get the job. The clothing has instilled a stronger sense of worth and dignity in these individuals because they feel, with their new clothes, they can now obtain a more professional job.

These donations have been so important to those we serve because they are low income individuals who cannot afford specialty or luxury items. These donations were a treat for them and they were so happy to receive them! The donations have allowed them to obtain affordable housing, make their home beautiful, and maintain employment. Thank you so much to The Home Depot, GUESS, and Good360!
