Women That Care, Inc. is an organization serving as a resource provider to homeless families or individuals in need. WTC was founded in 2011 with a goal of bringing women together to offer relief through daily needed items such as toiletry bags, gently used clothing, blankets, coats, school supplies and food items. We regularly join forces with other ministries, volunteering our services to help provide support to those in need. In addition to distributing goods, we host annual events that provide assistance and education to individuals living in the community.

Earlier this year, WTC spent the day with the women living at Granite Falls Retirement Community in Roseville, North Carolina. In addition to our signature toiletry care bags and gently used clothing donated by some of our supporters, we were able to distribute accessories and specialty gifts from Francesca’s in Durham, NC through our Good360 partnership. Our organization received a generous number of shoes, accessories and other special gifts, so we were honored to share some with this retirement home. A couple of the women living in this community are receiving minimum support from family members, while others are in the retirement community alone with limited finances. Thanks to donations likes these, we can help women feel special at any age through accessories and clothing!
