Support the Troops was founded 17 years ago in Wesley Chapel, FL with the mission of honoring and supporting our nation’s troops.  The organization works with Good360 and Tempur Sealy to donate Tempur-Pedic mattresses to disabled veterans.  Wesley Chapel is close to Tampa, which has one of the highest populations of veterans in the country.  For the last four years, this partnership has helped more than 1500 of these heroes sleep better at night on a high-quality mattress.

Support the Troops receives Tempur-Pedic mattresses by the truckload through Good360, then works with local veterans’ organizations to place the mattresses with a disabled veteran.

One disabled veteran who was a recipient of a Tempur-Pedic mattress was severely wounded in combat, resulting in loss of his vision and his foot, and burns over 65% of his body.  “I’m extremely thankful because a good night’s rest means everything to me.”  He has undergone a staggering 127 surgeries yet remains thankful for the people and organizations that have helped him along the way.  “When people come together like this it makes me realize that as Americans we can accomplish anything.”
