Good360’s Donations to Christ Community Church

Christ Community Church is a church committed to loving God and each other, while living according to God’s Word.  We work with Good360 to provide presents to children at Christmastime and to hand out socks to the homeless people living on the streets.

For our children, the donation of toys and clothing that we used for Christmas gifts makes a big impact to our community because we invest in our children.  It also transforms families and helps parents who otherwise would not be able to provide during the holidays. These donations helped families and children see that they are loved and not forgotten, offering hope and encouragement to a struggling family.  Several of the girls who received the dolls and dress up items were extremely happy to have something new to play with. These luxuries often aren’t available to struggling families in the community. It was so wonderful to see these 100 children just being able to be kids, enjoying gifts and toys.

For the homeless community, we handed out the socks to 200 people living on the streets of San Diego. They were so pleased to receive clean, warm, thick socks.  Many of the folks we serve are impacted by severe health issues, and mental health issues. San Diego in particular has an extremely large community living on the streets due to the warm weather, and the high cost of living here. This donation helped these people with hygiene, comfort and dignity.  For one man, his socks before were so dirty and tattered. He had other new pairs that had recently been stolen while he was sleeping. He was so happy to receive such a small thing as clean socks. It made a huge difference to him.

Thank you to Good360 and your donors for bringing joy to the lives of the people we serve.
