As Told to Good360 by Keys to the Kingdom Community Church

Keys to the Kingdom Community Church, located in Fort Washington, MD, strives to bridge the gap of poverty in the communities where goods are needed the most. This gathering of believers provides a relevant spiritual place to grow and an open space for all. Thanks to this donation from Good360, we were able to provide Christmas and birthday gifts for families who could not afford to give their children gifts for the holidays. Our outreach and love for the community and its children throughout the year first started with our annual Keeping Christ in Christmas Extravaganza. During this event we give gifts to families of children who would normally find nothing on Christmas morning under the tree.  Thanks to Good360, we were able to make this outreach a success over the years.

The best experience during these events is watching the joy these parents have by ensuring that their children will awaken to something under the tree. We have several people who’ve been affected by our outreach and their smiles and exclamations make it worth doing every year. One recipient had been away from his family for a while and recently returned. He was looking for employment since Christmas was quickly approaching and he had nothing to bring home to his children. Thanks to Good360, we were able to provide him and other families a gift at our annual outreach. After the toy distribution, we also supplied Christmas tree ornaments from Good360. Thank you for this program and the ability to help provide happiness to families during the holidays.
