Ferguson’s In-kind Appliance Donations Help Refugee Families as They Settle into Their New Homes

Arizona Zoroastrian Association (AZA)

Each year, more than 10,000 people flee their countries for refuge to come to the United States. These families have already faced incredible hardship by the time they reach U.S. soil, and the process of starting over in a foreign country can be overwhelming. Arizona Zoroastrian Association (AZA) is a Good360 nonprofit partner founded in 2005 by Zoroastrian evacuees to connect with fellow immigrants and help one another. As more people have been resettled in Arizona through the Arizona Refugee Resettlement Program, AZA has helped thousands of households rebuild their lives. Thanks to a recent donation from Good360 corporate donor, Ferguson, AZA provided 40 refugee families with appliances and plumbing products to renovate their apartments.

Receiving brand-new appliances meets a physical need and also lets these families know they are welcome and their lives matter.
