Father’s Day Done Right at Children’s Wish Foundation

Organization:  Children’s Wish Foundation
Lives Impacted: 20+
Donation: Burts Bees

Children’s Wish Foundation International, Inc. is a nonprofit organization headquartered in Atlanta, GA that fulfills wishes for children with life-threatening illnesses.  Since the group’s inception in 1985, hundreds of thousands of children have been touched by the efforts of Children’s Wish Foundation through the foundation’s various programs.

This Father’s Day event had many donations from Men’s electric shavers, phone chargers, Burt’s Bees lip balms and a wide variety of other tools available for children to gift bag for their fathers. Although the donations played a huge part in this event, what makes it so meaningful is the chance for hospitalized children to shop for their dads since they are unable to have the traditional Father’s Day experience.

The donation from these companies made a positive impact on the CWFI community as the products were a part of a collection of items that reached hundreds of patients and families at several of our partner hospitals. While many of these children were unable to celebrate Father’s Day outside of the hospital, the support of our donors and Good360 made it possible for them to create a magical Father’s Day experience for the men they love.
