Eddie Bauer Donation Helps Honor a Great Cause

Edmonton Epilepsy Association
Lives Impacted:  350+
Donation: Eddie Bauer
Website: www.edmontonepilepsy.org

Edmonton Epilepsy Association located in Alberta, Canada assists over 25,000 individuals in its service area. Research shows that 70% of the impacted population can lead normal lives with the help of medication, yet many still suffer with seizures making life unpredictable. Our main role is to help educate the general public about epilepsy, as well as to provide free counselling and other support services to people affected and their families.  Our long-term membership with Edmonton’s United Way In-Kind Exchange has enabled us to help our disadvantaged members over the years with various products to help improve their quality of life.

Our mission to help those affected by this disease plus working with groups like Good360 and Edmonton’s United Way-In-Kind Exchange, gives us the opportunity to service more than 350 people each year. Last year we were able to provide assistance to 329 of our disadvantaged members with the usual benefits from the association and these high-quality clothes. We thank Eddie Bauer for redistributing great items to our clients who need it, because they can smile knowing that they’re going to school or to a job interview with dignity, dressed in new Eddie Bauer clothing. Thank you to again Eddie Bauer, and Good360 for this partnership which provides valuable products for people in need.
