As Told to Good360 by New Foundation Outreach Ministries

New Foundation Outreach Ministries, located in San Francisco, CA, was established to help bring the gospel to the community. Since 1984 our organization has helped many in the community find love and grow in their faith. Through our outreach tents, NFO Ministries provides relief to community residents each week by providing solutions for the needs of others. We are an organization that prides ourselves in serving and helping those in need to find employment and critical resources.

Thanks to this donation, we were able to provide coats and pullovers to struggling families in the community. We also helped individuals struggling with homelessness who needed coats to keep warm during the upcoming winter season. With all the items donated, we were able to host a drive for the many families that could not afford these jackets for themselves or their families.

One of the recipients we met was a mother of six small daughters struggling to make ends meet on her salary. They were constantly looking for ways to cut costs, so they would usually forego the purchase of jackets for key necessities. She mentioned that she was receiving public assistance and that she could not afford even one coat, let alone six coats for her whole family. When we offered her the seven items, she expressed deep gratitude. She was very excited when she realized that she would get enough coats for her whole family and thanked us for giving her hope. Thank you Good360 for your help and for providing good quality clothing to the people of our community!
