Nestled among the Bastrop County pine trees, this 21-building, 50-acre, $6.5 million, labor of love has finally become a reality. The Refuge for DMST™ (Domestic Minor Sex Trafficking) will open The Refuge Ranch this coming August in Texas. With the unwavering support of the Central Texas community, this project has been built to meet a dire need. Since setting our sights on this dream, pouring the first concrete slab over a year ago, this project is a long time coming. In a matter of weeks, we will open a long-term, residential, therapeutic community for 48 girls, ranging from minors to young adults, who have been rescued out of sex trafficking.

We had a photographer capture one of our best moments, which was the setting up of the first mattress. This one photograph captures all the prayer, sweat equity and sweet generosity that has helped build The Refuge Ranch.  We are so thankful that Tempur Pedic donated their mattresses to Good360, because they donated them to the Christian Compassion Center. Along with the donations we want to thank The Lakeway Church Women’s Ministry for their financial assistance and all who contributed to make this Refuge for DMST possible.

“This is the first mattress!” said one of our staff members, who happened to catch this moment. “This is happening! The Refuge Ranch will open soon!” Finally, 48 girls — the first of hundreds – who have come from hard places will have peace and know joy. We are looking to provide the first child survivor of sex trafficking, in The Refuge Ranch the opportunity to lay down her head in peace, perhaps for the first time.

Goood360 though its partnership with Tempur Sealy International and C3 is honored to enable The Refuge in its amazing and critical mission. For more information about The Refuge Ranch, visit their website at
