Footprints Around the World, Inc, is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing help to the homeless and low-income families in communities in Los Angeles since 2015. The donation of Halloween costumes that we received from Good360 allowed us to assist more kids and families with items such as costumes and toys at no cost.
A little girl named Alondra and her younger sister were crying about a Halloween costume, so I intervened and asked Alondra if she would like to be a princess. She was overjoyed! When I opened the bag and pulled out the princess dress, Alondra screamed and was so happy. Her younger sister received another princess dress, and their mom was so grateful because she had no money at the time. I will never forget the expressions on their faces, it was priceless. This is what it’s all about–helping people in need.
For another little girl named Olivia, her mom was having a difficult time making ends meet and she didn’t think she could afford a Halloween costume. When I brought the dress donated from Good360, Olivia said, “Is this for me?” I gave her a tiara to go on her head and she immediately smiled, grabbed the dress, put it in front of herself, and said, “look mom, it’s so pretty!” Moments like these are the reasons that we make it our mission to bring smiles to the children’s faces with gifts of love.
Thank you to Good360 for helping to make Halloween dreams come true!
