As Told to Good360 by Endless Abilities for Children with Disabilities
Endless Abilities for Children with Disabilities, located in Tampa and Polk County in Florida, promotes community inclusion for the disabled community. We focus on supporting individuals and their families/caregivers on their path to independent living. We help anyone in need, primarily low-income families with children who are managing disabilities and helping them integrate into society like all other children.
Thanks to this donation of computer accessories, books, desks and chairs we will be able to start our after-school programs for individuals looking to further their education. After-school tutoring for the youth, summer school/camp options, and supported employment coaching are a few of the programs the research center will be utilized for. Home maintenance and disaster preparedness classes, as well as financial budgeting and training classes for adults and children, are just a few other ways that we strive to advance our mission. With your support and the support of our sponsors, partners, and investors, these classes will be held at our resource center in the near future.
Our main focus is to nurture and feed the mind and soul through donated items that help feed and fuel the body, enhancing the endurance needed to follow through. Our organization has helped many children including the son of our own executive director. She welcomed the birth of her son, Christopher Footman Jr., last year who was born with dandy walker syndrome, a rare brain malformation which affects coordination, growth, and development. He is the organization’s constant reminder that everyone possesses endless abilities. Thank you Good360 for helping us continue our mission to give children and their families the confidence they need to be the best they can be.
