As Told to Good360 by Open Door Mission

Open Door Mission, located in Omaha, NE, is a Gospel Rescue Mission that meets the needs of individuals and families while inspiring hope for lasting change. Our vision is to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty by welcoming everyone with the utmost respect into a place where they can feel safe and cared for. Our organization offers more than 40 programs that make a difference in their lives, providing on a path off the streets. Through our commitment to living out grace and speaking the truth, we encourage people to keep their eyes on our goal and strengthen the lives of others using the balanced principles of truth.

Thanks to this donation from J.Jill we were able to give back to the women in our community that needed professional clothing. This donation consisted of business casual clothing that individuals needed for work, interviews and personal occasions. These clothes were used in the Clothing Closet for Career Development in the Worknet and Homeless Prevention programs. Every year we host an event where apparel and personal care items are offered for free. Thanks to Good360 and J.Jill we provided brand new clothing in the correct sizes to those in need. Not only did they find their confidence, they were able to have high-end items that they usually can’t afford for the first time ever. Thank you J.Jill and Good360 for helping us give back to over 100 recipients in the area!
