Church Gives Back to Local Families Through Clothing Donation

Organization: Chosen Generation Christian Church
Lives Impacted: 20+

As told to Good360 by Chosen Generation Christian Church

Chosen Generation Christian Church, located in Raleigh, NC, strives to meet the needs of the community through outreach and mentorship. We establish and maintain a strong local church which challenges, influences, and impacts others through education, helping believers to handle the gospel skillfully.

Thanks to this donation, we were able to distribute items to individuals in the community looking for winter clothes. Earlier this year we received coats and boots for women, along with other donated apparel that we could give to parents and their children, as well as couples, singles and the homeless. We were so overwhelmed by the size of the distribution because we were able to help over 20+ families just in time for the winter season.

Being able to give back to the community is extremely important to us, because it lets them know that they can come to our organization and get relief during difficult times and situations without being judged. We believe that by helping these families, we are reinforcing the power of collaboration, and showing how we can help the whole community when working together. We were a bit nervous since this was our first time working with Good360, but were relieved in the long run since it was a great outcome for all. Thank you Good360 for everything you do to help improve the people in our community.
