As Told to Good360 by Port of Missions Outreach Ministries

Port of Missions Outreach Ministries, located in Milwaukee, WI, provides a helping hand to individuals in need hoping to create meaningful opportunities that will strengthen relationships within the communities.  We continue to dedicate our time, energy and resources to create positive changes in Milwaukee neighborhoods by providing food, clothing, furniture and housing resources to homeless individuals and people who are disenfranchised, in our community. Our vision is to help all individuals, especially the homeless, to move from homelessness and resettle into their own homes while becoming self-sufficient.

Thanks to this donation, we gave back to the men and women in our community looking to start over. We received a variety of items ranging from men’s suit jackets, men’s dress pants, women’s skirts and professional shirts. These items were highly requested from men and women looking for jobs in the area after suffer personal loss.  The clothing will be very useful whenever our clients go to interviews, and have professional gatherings or personal events that need formal wear.

We cannot say thank you enough Good360 for helping any individual who lacks the income to buy these amazing items for themselves. One of our clients who came in was so happy to receive such nice clothes because he realized that someone cared. It is because of organizations like yours we can change lives and help individuals find their confidence.
