Brooklinen Blessing for Austin Communities

DONATION: BROOKLINEN BEDDING

LIVES IMPACTED: 40

Austin Disaster Relief Network (ADRN) is comprised of more than 175 Greater Austin churches and thousands of trained volunteers bringing hope into crisis. ADRN’s network enables and empowers church members to organize, prepare, mobilize, and respond quickly in the event of disaster, great or small.

In February, we were able to pick up Brooklinen bedding through Good360. We sent the entire pickup of items to the team at our distribution point in Rockport, with whom we have been working throughout our hurricane relief efforts. Pastor Tim and Lori Baylor are blessing families left and right with the linens. All of the linens we have sent down there have been given to families in need.

One of our shepherds here at our headquarters was assisting an older woman named Lynette, who had lost everything in the flood. She was on the verge of homelessness. The shepherd was able to obtain an RV for her which included a bed but, unfortunately, there was nothing else available at the time. The woman came back for a follow-up visit and we were able to bless her with a set of Brooklinen sheets, helping to make her new RV more of a home. She was so grateful to receive the sheets! You have helped countless others like Lynette through this donation. Thank you!
