23 Sep Arbonne Donation Will Reach Children on the Other Side of the World
DONATION: FACIAL MOISTURIZER
LIVES IMPACTED: 195
Twenty-five years ago, when I was in high school in Ethiopia, I had to drop out due to my family’s financial issues. I worked hard to support my parents. There had been many years when we went without enough food and clean water, but we made it through those hard times. Going through what I’ve been through, I wanted to do something great so that I could assist others in similar situations. I love helping other people, so I decided to do something important to benefit those who are less fortunate.
Education Access for African Children Inc. strives to increase primary and secondary school enrollment among children and to increase the number of female teachers in the suburban and rural areas of Ethiopia. Limited funds and a lack of adequate teachers, classrooms, and learning materials adversely affected the educational environment throughout most of the country. Education Access for African Children Inc. focuses on increasing access to quality basic education through supplying textbooks, teaching material, teacher training programs, and tuition assistance.
Our goal is to provide donations on a broader scale. Some of our assistance to the schools comes in the form of computers, copy machines, personal care items, sport materials, and toilet constructions. We hope to achieve our vision and goals with support from organizations such as Good360 and companies such as Arbonne.
The donation from Arbonne of facial moisturizers has not yet been distributed but soon will be given to the needy and youth in Ethiopia. We are currently awaiting a financial donation to be able to send the products to them. Once they are delivered, this donation will change many lives. We know they will be of great use to those who get them because moisturizer is often a necessary, but overlooked, donation.
We hope that Good360 and companies like Arbonne will continue to provide sources of aid to the children of Ethiopia and allow our organization to expand.
