Amazon Donations Help Alleviate Diaper Needs

Role Models of America

As a Good360 Community Redistribution Partner (CRP), Role Models of America provides much-needed goods to vetted nonprofits and charitable organizations in the greater Houston metropolitan community.  The resource warehouse recently received a donation of baby and kids items from Amazon.com and the Amazon FBA donations program through Good360. Role Models of America distributed these items to a local elementary school, where economically disadvantaged families will receive the donations.

1 in 3 families in the U.S. struggle to provide enough diapers to keep their babies clean, dry, and healthy. With the onset of the pandemic, the problem of diaper need has only become more evident. Lack of adequate diapers can lead to health risks and the inability to send children to daycare centers, further affecting parents’ abilities to earn a living.

Of the products distributed, the diaper donations are especially impactful. While diapers are an obvious necessity for families with young children, these items are often not covered by many federally funded assistance programs. Thanks to this donation, the receiving families have one less thing to worry about in trying to make ends meet.

Thank you to Role Models of America and Amazon for supporting families in need.
