FIRST HARVEY, THEN IRMA

SUPPORT IS UNDERWAY

Harvey & Irma cause loss and devastation across multiple states

The extremely powerful and catastrophic hurricanes of 2017, Harvey and Irma, caused major devastation to victims in Texas, Louisiana, Florida, the US Southeast, and the Caribbean. With 550,000+ registrants for FEMA to date and estimates for damages upwards of $200 billion, Good360 is committed to deliver needed items, with the support of our partners, to areas impacted.

To date, we have sent $3.4 million to Hurricane Harvey relief organizations and $1.5 million to Hurricane Irma relief organizations, while still working to send over $1 million to organizations on the ground in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Additionally, together with our corporate partners, we have secured $8 million in commitments to support the long-term recovery, long after the 2017 hurricane season.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

In this unprecedented situation with two hurricanes making US landfall within two weeks of one other, resources have been stretched for everyone involved in the recovery process. Good360 has now participated in several FEMA/Florida VOAD (Volunteer Organizations Assisting in Disaster) conference calls regarding the status and forecasted path of Hurricane Irma. FEMA and the Salvation Army have exhausted most of their resources on Harvey relief and many other nonprofits are facing similar shortages.

Product donations from Good360 are going to be even more critical to help with both early and later-stage recovery efforts, and we have already begun the process of pre-staging product in the Southeast to prepare for Irma.

KEY RESOURCES
