14 May Good360 Celebrates its 30th Year by Launching the Good360 Blog: Powered by Good

It’s our birthday and we’ll blog if we want to.
Birthdays are a great time to reflect on where we’ve been and where we’re going. Good360, formerly known as Gifts In Kind International, formed in 1983 in response to 3M’s need to donate $12M worth of new office equipment – perfectly usable copiers that would have been disposed of if 3M had not considered the charitable alternative. Today, consumers now insist companies find meaningful and environmentally friendly ways to deal with their unused merchandise. At Good360, we like to think we’re giving these incredibly valuable products a philanthropic afterlife.
These essential items have the ability to revive communities across the globe – whether they are recovering from a natural disaster, supporting families during financial hardship or comforting those who are suffering. We love seeing the good our network of nonprofits can do with the help of these donations and it’s why we show up at our offices in Alexandria, Va. and our warehouse in Omaha, Neb each day. We are all Powered by Good.
Delivering more than $7 billion in product over the last 30 years, Good360 has established itself as the nonprofit leader in product philanthropy through constant innovation. Developing an efficient, stream-lined supply chain, building a state-of-the-art online donation catalog, engineering custom giving programs for America’s top brands and growing a network of more than 35,000 nonprofits are just some of the pioneering steps along the way.
This blog is a symbol of where we’re going and we hope you stick with us throughout our 30th year as we look to revolutionize the way we connect nonprofits, businesses and supporters.
By the way, we’re currently accepting birthday gifts in the form of cash and product donations to ensure we keep the good coming! Visit our Giving Market where a $10 donation delivers $700 of toys to sick children, $25 delivers $1,750 worth of tool kits to returning veterans and $50 deliveries $3,500 worth of diapers to struggling families.
Thanks for visiting and we hope you come back soon!
