Hurricane Eta, a category four storm, and Hurricane Iota, a category five storm, both made landfall in Nicaragua just 13 days apart leading to widespread destruction, flooding, and loss of life in the area.
The people living in Puerto Cabezas, which is home to 60,000 people have seen two eyewall impacts in a span of two weeks. This is the first time on record that two major Atlantic hurricanes have formed this late into the hurricane season.
Good360 is working with our nonprofit partners in the Nicaragua and Honduras areas to distribute critically needed goods to the communities impacted by these storms. While the road to recovery will be long but Good360 will be there every step of the way.
