As of December 4, 2020, there are currently six large fires in California. Four new large fires were reported this week, and firefighters were able to reach containment goals on five large fires. To date, 52,834 wildfires have burned 9.5 million acres, the second most acres burned in the past 10 years
Our goal is to provide critical goods to the right people at the right time during all phases of a disaster. The Good360 disaster team is working hard to mitigate waste and inefficiencies while assisting victims of these wildfires to return to a normal life. Victims impacted include the region’s seasonal agricultural workers, who face loss of jobs and housing due to the blazes. We can amplify every dollar contributed by a minimum factor of 10, meaning that for every $10 donated, we can distribute at least $100 in needed goods.
Support Good360 with funding to help cover storage and shipping of donated items. This will ensure an efficient and effective response.
