Michael Avis is a finance veteran with more than 20 years of experience successfully leading teams to achieve organizational goals and objectives. He has established financial best practices in both start-up environments and established corporate firms. His financial leadership resulted in improved operations, business growth, maximized profits, and increased enterprise value.
Prior to joining Good360, Mike was the executive vice president of finance at DBR360 and iCore Networks. While at DBR360, Mike managed the company through the start-up phase to a successful exit. As the executive vice president of finance at iCore Networks, Mike oversaw the development of financial procedures and processes to fuel 33% yearly growth, and was a Washington Business Journal CFO of the Year Finalist in both 2009 and 2010.
Before iCore, Mike served as VP of Financial Operations and Administration at GTT where he helped take the private firm with $5M+ in revenue to a public company with $80M in revenue in just seven years. Mike also held senior management positions at Winstar, MCI, and other telecommunications firms.
Mike is a CPA, has a BA from the University Mary Washington, an accounting degree from UMUC and lives in Northern Virginia with his wife and four children.
