2021 Winter Storms - Good360

WINTER STORM URI

About Winter Storm Uri

Winter Storm Uri hit Texas and Oklahoma residents hard with freezing weather, snow and ice, no potable water, and power outages. Good360 worked with nonprofit partners, Texas Dept of Emergency Management (TDEM), Texas VOAD and partners on the ground to assess needs. Through our partners, we were able to distribute blankets, water, gloves, socks, slippers, non-perishable foods and basic goods.

Many Texans are facing a long road to recovery. Burst water pipes have damaged tens of thousands of homes and nonprofits need plumbing supplies along with building products to help those in need. Good360 is supported by a grant from the Center for Disaster Philanthropy to enable us to procure and distribute donations of plumbing supplies, AC/Heater units, and building supplies to partners working on long term recovery.

How Good360 Helps

We ensure that the right goods are delivered to the right people at the right time – throughout all stages of disaster recovery. We were there in the early days with personal care items, supplies for shelters, and cleaning/mucking out products and we’ll be there long after the media spotlight has dimmed months and years later with furniture, mattresses, home goods and other necessities to help impacted communities through the recovery journey.

Current Needs: plumbing supplies, drywall, insulation, flooring, shingles, tools and other building supplies.
