2021 WINTER STORMS

Texas and states with plumbing issues and flood damage

Winter Storm Uri hit Texas and Oklahoma residents hard with freezing weather, snow and ice, no potable water, and power outages.  Good360 worked with nonprofit partners, Texas Dept of Emergency Management (TDEM), Texas VOAD and partners on the ground to assess needs. Through our partners, we were able to distribute blankets, water, gloves, socks, slippers, non-perishable foods and basic goods.

Supply chains have caught up with needs for water and basic goods across the state and weather has warmed up, but Texans are still facing a long road to recovery.  Burst water pipes have damaged tens of thousands of homes and nonprofits are in need of plumbing supplies, along with building products are needed for flood damage and long term recovery repairs.
